Jurassic World officially filming this April on 35mm and 65mm film!

Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow just tweeted the following information:

Notably, John Schwartzman will be the film's Cinematographer (The Amazing Spider-Man, Saving Mr. Banks, Pearl Harbor) and the film will be shot on 35mm and 65mm film as opposed to digital!

We recently found out that Jurassic World will film on both Oahu and Kauai, Hawaii this April for 6 weeks but we now have details on the how long it will shoot in Louisiana! NOLA.com reports that Jurassic World will start filming in New Orleans June 2nd, and shooting will last for 11 weeks! As such, the movie is currently looking at a total of 17 weeks of filming.
